Students & Parents: We completed our first unit and have started our second unit, Covering and Surrounding.  This unit supports 2-dimensional geometric figures. Students will focus on area and perimeter of squares, rectangles, triangles, parallelgrams, and cirlcles.

Attention Parents and Students: We will begin our Unit Test on Wednesday, October 29th.  Review the Study Guide (in your blue tool box section), your vocabulary (in the gold vocabulary section) and your past quizzes (in the pink assessment section).  I will be available for help Monday after school.

You should know how to read and interpret: line plots, bar graphs, stem-and-leaf plots, and coordinte graphs.  You should know how to find the median, mode, mean, and range for each type of display.  You should also how to create each display type given survey results.  you should also know the difference between numerical and categorical data. 

Mon. & Tues., 10/27 and 10/28- Study

Wed., 10/29: 4 tables

Thursday, 10/30: 6 tables

Friday, 10/30: None unless you owe any missing work!  Check the front board to see if you owe anything.  This is your last chance to make-up any missing work. Any work not completed by Monday, 11/4 will be marked a "zero" in the gradebook.
