The 2011-2012 School Year has started and I'd like to welcome all my new students, my returning students, parents of students, and even those of you who are not my students. This page contains summaries of homework assignments, downloadable chapter notes for Biology CP and Honors Biology, and some interesting links. Feel free to browse and/or send me comments. WEEK OF JANUARY 3 to 6, 2012 Honors Biology (Level 1) - Review Chapter 3 notes up to Section 3.12; complete hand-out containing Exercises 6 & 7 (remember to use red, blue, and black ink for Ex. 7); draft background reports should be handed in for Science Fair Projects. Genetics CP (Levels 2 & 4) - Review Chapter 25 material on viruses; complete Questions 1-6 on page 490 and complete hand-out on Viruses by Thursday; Genetic Disorder papers are due to me by Friday, with oral presentations scheduled for next week. Biology CP (Levels 6 & 7) - Work on Study Guide for Chapter 7; complete and hand-in Section 7.2 Worksheet and hand-out on Organelles/Golgi by Thursday; Background reports for Science Fair are also due this week. NOTE: Chapter notes for CP and Honors Biology should be down-loaded and then reviewed several times each week. In addition, Science Fair Projects for all Honors Biology and Biology CP students will be due no later than January 30th. |
