Ms. Morgan- 8th grade world history
Also, a reminder that students need to make sure that their work is their own work and done in their own handwriting. There is not a reason why two (or more) students should turn in work that is the same or very similar.
I will be after school on Tues. 11/3 and Fri 11/6.
due Mon. 11/2- Big Emperor/Pope Tombstone on white paper Students started this in class on Fri. 10/30.
Ch. 7, Sec. 3 and 4 quizzes were returned on Mon. 11/2. Students who want to make corrections and improve their grade can do so, as long as they haven't made corrections on a test or quiz this trimester. Students who want to make corrections need to see Ms. Morgan to get a copy of the quiz and then need to read the directions for the corrections which are on p. 5 (I think, it's a yellow paper) of their notebook.
due Tues. 11/3- Ch. 8, Sec. 3 outline Students started this work during class on Thurs. 10/29.
due Wed. 11/4- Europe at the Time of the Crusades Map Students started this work during class on Thurs. 10/29.
no HW due Thurs. 11/5
due Fri. 11/6- Ch.8 Review questions
due Mon. 11/9- Assessing the Crusades and Reconquista chart (cannot be uploaded to Class Jump) ALSO corrections to Ch.7, Sec. 2 & 4 quiz (if you are choosing to do corrections)
Ch.8, Sec. 1-3 Test on Thurs. 11/12
**I added a website where I have assignments available to download. Check out the class jump site below.***
Late project clarification My history handout, taped on p.1 in the notebook, explains my late policy regarding projects. However, it somewhat unclear. If a project is one or two days late, it loses one letter grade. If a project is three or four days late, it loses two letter grades and so on for five, six, etc. days late. |
