Welcome to Mrs. T's Web Page!

Welcome to Kindergarten! Please check this page and Infinite Campus every Thursday for updates in classroom homework, events, and activities.

Belle Creek is on Facebook. The link is:

Each Student needs to bring a heavy coat. We go outside everyday (even if the sign says inside day).

Thank you for an amazing school year! See you in August!

I've been nominated as a Life Changer and I'd love your support:
Here is the link with ideas of how to support this nomination:

Spelling Words:

Drop off (8:20 A.M.) and Pick up (3:20 P.M.): on the basketball court. Please make sure your student gives Mrs. T. a handshake, hug, or high five before saying good-bye.

On cold/ bad weather days -please pick your student up at the office hallway by front doors.

If poor weather in the mornings then we have a line up area by the office desk starting at 8:15 AM.

Infinite Campus - this is how you access your student's grades. Go to the parent link on the school web page and select grades and then type in your log in - you can get your log in from Mrs. Ericka at the front desk. The school does not send home report cards.

Grading system:

E or star means excellent - the student did it with out my help and understands the concept.

S or happy face means satisfactory - the student needed some help and somewhat understands concept- this is still grade level.

N / U means not acceptable - the student needed help the whole time, does not understand the concept, or never turned the assignment in from an absence.

All absent work, missing work, and home work is due by the end of the quarter.  Grades are finalized each quarter and then start over with each new quarter.

Behavior:  Students have the opportunity to earn tickets for positive behavior and correct answers. The tickets go into a bank account and on Friday they get to go shopping with the tickets for prizes like "become the teacher for a day" or"extra computer time."  However there is a consequence as well for poor behavior choices and the student may have to pay their tickets back and earn a minor consequence with a social skills meeting where we discuss the problem and try to solve it together.  I will not call home if your student has a minor consequence.   If the student has three minor consequences by Friday then he or she will not go shopping at Friday Fun.  If a student makes a really poor choice like hitting, stealing, telling a lie, then he or she will get  a phone call home, perhaps a visit to the office and he or she will not participate in Friday Fun Shopping. I always give one verbal warning per behavior per subject and I role model correct behavior. If the student makes the choice to repeat the same behavior during the same subject then the student has made the choice to earn  a social skills meeting where we discuss appropriate behavior.
