Dear parents,

We have been exploring clothing for the past two weeks. We discovered features of clothing like buttons, zippers, toggles and Velcro. We counted the features and compared their shapes. We also read the story "Goldielocks and the three bears". The children learned how to compare sizes large medium and small. We also used units to count the length of the clothing. The children discusses who they think can fit in either of the three sizes.
This past week, we discussed how to care for clothing. The children washed clothing, hanged them on a clothesline and folded the clothes. We also discussed the different ways we can care for clothes.
Next week we will discuss sorting colors and why it is important to was similar colors together.

On YouTube we watch "have fun teaching" videos. We are to the letter M. We also visit https://www.ws1to6-songs.com/. We are practicing reading the rhym "Baa, baa, black sheep". Clip on part one, the rhym and then video. The rhym as well as the words will play. Your child can sing along and read the words.

No school February 17 and 20.
