We will continue our study of fibers and textiles and their importance as "class evidence" to a crime scene.  We will conduct microscopic examination of weave patterns, and burn tests to determine the composition of different fabric samples.  Our chapter 4 quiz (textiles and fibers)will be on Wednesday, October 17. Sergeant Adam Ringle, head of the  Wilmington Police CSI  unit, will visit the class on Thursday to share firsthand accounts of crime scene investigations.
