A Literature WebQuest: focus on short stories
• Sign In With…
o LastNameFirstName as your login. No capitals, no spaces, no symbols.
o Your NCWise student number as your password. The entire number.
• Next, hover your mouse over the bottom of the screen and open Safari. It looks like a compass. Open this address: http://eedition.nytimes.com. Login as 200296952 and the password 200296952.
• Click on E-Edition Activities. Click on Getting Acquainted with Page 1. Click on Guide to Page 1.
• Open a Word Document. Paste the questions onto the document if you like, or type the answers from your handout. Answer Questions 1-4, all parts. DO write in sentences. Save to your account by clicking “Save as” and name the document. Save often!
• When you finish, print the document to printer HP LaserPrinter 2015.

Progress down each column of activities, starting with the first column. Click on the link again to return to the Elements of a Short Story Activities Page. Print any materials you need to fill out or that you have typed and turn them in.

Read the page and choose a short story. Complete the activities as seen on the page, especially the four thinking maps. Print your maps and turn them in.
