------Math Update ----Math4Today Quiz on Friday covering weeks 9 and 10. Students should bring home their Math4Today folders on Thursday night to review.
There will be a quiz on the different types of graphs and on mean, median, mode and range between Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. I will see how much material we are able to cover on the next few days and I will have an exact date.
----Homework Concerns----Students must follow the directions for the homework. Students may want to look back at the work done in class so that the homework is done in the same manner. But some are not writing the work neatly enough or organized enough to be of any help. I have repeatedly expressed my expectations about the effort that needs to be put into the work. The math skills need to be practiced and the homework is very important. Please not only ask your child if they have homework or if it is done but actually look at the homework. Is it quality work? Homework should have a heading, be neat, numbered and work should be shown. It should be in the math folder not on loose paper. Folders need to be neat and organzied. If needed take out some of the earlier work and put it in a specific place at home. Neatness and organization is key.

----Science Update ----Quiz on Unit 4 Lesson 2 in Science textbook. Students should have read and taken notes in class on last Friday and they have a lesson outline worksheet to complete on this Tuesday for homework. We will go over the answers in class and students may use this sheet to help them study. Students will also receive lesson questions for Wed. night homework. We will check the answers on Thursday. These questions can also be used to help students review the lesson.
