In reference to the question at Back to School Night, NO goody bags are permitted to be given out for a classroom birthday, as per the guidelines in the CCHRS Handbook.

1. Read for 10 minutes.
2. Spelling: Write a rhyming word for each spelling word. All instructions for spelling homework are taped into the copybooks and we did a practice list together last week so you can see how things should be setup. ( Words: am, at, sat, man, dad, mat)
3. Math: pages 13,14
We are still waiting for 3 more workbooks (phonics and two reading workbooks) to come. I will be sending them home for covering when they do.
**Friday, 9/25 will be a dress down day in honor of the Pope's visit. The children are to come to school in yellow and white only. No blue jeans or any other color are allowed to be worn. If you do not have anything to dress in, come to school in the regular uniform. UPDATE: The Archdiocese announced a 1/2 day on Friday as well. CCHRS will be having an 11:30 dismissal this Friday, 9/25.
*Gym days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Come to school with your gym uniform on those days.
