Good Morning,
We are stating our new ELA novel study. We will be reading “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
I have attached a link to the online .pdf file.
Please read Chapter 1 and answer the following question in a notebook. (remember to date all your work)
Chapter 1 Question-- The protagonist in most novels features the main character or “good guy”. The protagonist of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a very likeable boy, Charlie Bucket, whose life goes through some dramatic changes as the story unfolds. Think back on some of your favorite characters from past novels you have read or movies you’ve seen.
What do you think makes for an especially interesting protagonist?

Good afternoon,

I just created a 4E account on prodigy math games.

https://play.prodigygame.com › scrlybrkr

Our Class ID is B833DD

You can create a new account or continue to use an old account as long as you link it with our class ID.

Students- please close your eyes and think of a factory that makes something. What would your factory make? Would it be food? Games? Cars? Clothing? Toys? It can be absolutely anything. Use you imagination. Maybe it’s a juice factory that has water slides to mix the flavours or a candy factory that makes the craziest flavoured treats.

I would like each student to draw a picture of what is happening inside your factory. What do the machines look like? When finished- please write a paragraph about what is special about your factory? What is happening in the picture? Tell me about all the rooms? Is there a couple rooms or hundreds? Does anything exciting happen? Are there workers?

reminder if you have any questions my email is [email protected]
