The Hobbs High School FFA chapter is leaving for the state Fair on Friday the 5th of September. There will also be a community service activity on Friday night, parking cars at the Football game.Please attend.

This class is an introduction into Leadership and the FFA. Students will learn the social and personal skills necessary to become productive members of our society. Parli Pro, Public Speaking, Marketing, and FFA knowledge are the major components of the curriculum.
Scope and Sequence- ASL V- A1-4
The students in this class will be given the FFA quiz notebooks, ( Black notebooks on the table on the east end of classroom) In the box marked FFA the students will find the answer sheets to the FFA quiz. Have the students share the answer sheets and fill in the workbooks, The New Mexico Questions will be found in the box, the answers to the national test will be found on the sheets marked FFA National Test.The students should complete 12 to 13 pages per day.

This class is general education shop class. The objective of this class is to introduce the students to career's and skills in the area of arc welding, ace/welding and cutting, Mig and Tig welding, plasma cutting, wood construction, and engine maintenance.

This class is designed around the DEPCO Agriculture Tech Lab program. The students are rotating around the different programs. This semester the students will rotate around to different CDE contest area's.

Then have the students that are trying out for the creed team, recite the FFA creed in front of the class.

This class is an introduction into Leadership and the FFA. Students will learn the social and personal skills necessary to become productive members of our society. Parli Pro, Public Speaking, Marketing, and FFA knowledge are the major components of the curriculum.
Scope and Sequence- ASL V- A1-4
The students in this class will be given 15 minutes to study their FFA quiz notebooks, and to review the notes taken from the board. After 15 minutes hand out the FFA quiz which will be found in the card board box labeled State test. After the class has finished the quiz have them turn them in,(return to the box labeled State quiz. Then have the students that are trying out for the creed team, recite the FFA creed in front of the class.
