1.        SWBA will prepare for the New Mexico High School Competency Exam by using a practice guide as bellwork instruction.  20 Minutes

2.        SWBA to identify the key people, vocabulary, and themes of the changes in world economics in Chapter 16 from pre-Renaissance to post-Renaissance (understand fully that the Italian Renaissance will not, at first, effect the whole globe; the use of the term “Renaissance” is merely an effort to give a time value to this chapter an some parts of the Renaissance will be covered).  This is measurable through participation in daily discussion and reading assignments, an end-of-chapter review, and an end-of-chapter exam.  35 Minutes
