MISSING/LATE WORK POLICY

*Two weeks to make up missed assignments (unless otherwise noted).

*Missed tests and quizzes can only be made up during extra help; tests and/or quizzes cannot be made up during class time.

*Two weeks to make up late assignments (unless otherwise noted); penalty = 5 points per day.

*Assignments not made up within proper amount of time will receive a grade of 0.



GRADING POLICY

All assignments must be completed in blue or blank pen OR must be typed (12 pt font, double-spaced).  Assignments completed in pencil will not be graded.

Tests/ Projects = 40%
Writing = 30%
Homework/Quizzes = 20%
Participation/Preparedness = 10%



POLICY ON PLAGIARISM & CHEATING

*Any student caught plagiarizing on any assignment will receive a grade of 0. No make-ups or re-writes will be given.

*Any students caught cheating will share the grade with the student with whom they cheated. (Ex: If the assignment would have been given an 80, each student will receive a 40.)

*Any student caught cheating on a quiz or a test will receive a grade of 0.  No make-ups will be given.



ATTENDANCE POLICY (as per district policy)

*Students are allowed 28 absences for the year.

*NO MAKE-UPS WILL BE ALLOWED AS PER DISTRICT ATTENDANCE POLICY
