Welcome To 5B

 

 

Week of November 23 to November 27

 

 There is a canned food drive and coat drive going on during the month of November.  

 

 

The Enthronement Mass is at 9:00am on Wednesday morning. Congratulations to the eighth grade boys who are crowning the statue of Jesus.

 

There is an early dismissal on Wednesday at 12:30pm.

 

 

I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I hope your turkey day is filled with blessings,family,laughs,happiness and good times. 

 

 

 

Schedule:

Monday: Music

Tuesday: Technology

Thursday: Art and Physical Education

Friday: Italian

 

5B is in need of tissues, paper towels, and Clorox wipe Anything you bring in will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

 

 

 

Reading: The class will review making inferences. There will be a story test on Tuesday for Shiloh.

 

 

ELA:  Students are beginning how-to articles. They will be working on  pre-writing and their rough drafts.

 

 

Science: Students will begin a Health unit on Self-esteem. The topics that will be discussed are self-talk, put-downs, mistakes, and stress.  

 

 

 

Social Studies: Students will read about how to be a good citizen and begin a unit on the age of exploration. They will discuss vocabulary and learn about Christopher Columbus. 

Thanks to Mr. Langlais for coming in to teach Jr. Achievement.  

 

 

Religion: We are continuing to learn about Confirmation and  discussing the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They will create a poster about these gifts of the Holy Spirit.

 

 

 

 Vocabulary: Due to the fact that it is a short week there will be no vocabulary this week.
