Mrs. Starnes' First Grade
It is hard to believe the 100th day of school is quickly approaching!!! The students have worked hard and I hope they are excited to be entering the third quarter!! The focus this quarter will be on developing the students independence. Many of the students have the basic skills needed to be an independent learner. Now it is time to watch them flourish. ***Please review math facts and spelling words with your child daily. ***The goal is for the students to read 10 minutes daily. The students should record these minutes in their reading log everyday. ***Each Monday there is a weekly newsletter/homework paper placed in your child's organizer. Please be sure to read this information.
