Welcome back to school! Parents, please look for my Friday Notes at the end of every week. This will give you a summary of what we have done, as well as information regarding important dates. 8/26/11 Students should complete the restating worksheet and return it to school Monday. Your child should read 20 minutes a day. Encourage your child to practice math facts 3 to 4 times a week. I recommend that they practice this while watching their favorite 30 minute program. Every time the commercials come on, mute the t.v and have them practice their facts until the program returns. This will give them 15 minutes of practice time. |
