As of 11-17-09:

1. Long term - Book report due November 23.  A rubric has been handed out to all students.  If you do not have a rubric, please see me as soon as possible.

2.  There will be a Unit 2 Assessment on November 23 and 24.  Refer to your study guide to prepare for the test.  

Material being covered on the Unit assessment:
o  Synonyms                           o  Inference
o  Multiple Meanings                 o  Character Traits
o  Prefixes: re, con, in              o  Characterization
o  Analogies                             o  1st person point of view
o  Verb Tense                          o  3rd person limited point of view

3.  Describing a person essay is due on November 24.  Refer to the rubric handed out in class on Wednesday 11/18/09. - 2 pages


If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to get your make up work from the teacher.  Check your folder in the front of the room for missing work.
