For those who like to plan ahead... students in Grade 3 will begin learning to play the soprano recorder.  Fourth and Fifth Grade students will continue receiving instruction on recorder to enhance their music reading and ensemble playing skills.  Each student in these intermediate grades will need either a pocket folder with fasteners or binder with a 1/2" or 1 inch binding.  These are very useful tools for organizing song sheets, work sheets and recorder practice exercises.  

     Next year's fourth and fifth graders will benefit greatly by playing through the summer.  Have a safe and enjoyable summer and I look forward to seeing you in September!!
