Dear Students and Parents, Our next unit of study is Circuit Training in our weight room. We will be using a variety of weight machines. We will emphasize safe lifting techniques. We will use low settings of weights with high repetitions. We will go over proper use of each peice of equipment. Students will work in pairs and got through a circuit training program. This activity will run through January 28th. My classes will then go into the classroom for six weeks of health education. Students have finished taking our fall physical fitness tests. These tests help us to assess where student's strengths and weakness's lie in terms of fitness skills and will help us plan to improve fitness levels throughout the year. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to earn the National Physical Fitness Award or the President's Challenge Physical Fitness Award.
