The Sneaker Speaker: Summer 2009 As you plan for your back to school shopping, a pair of tennis shoes is usually on everyone's list because of the summer growth spurt most youngsters encounter. Please be mindful that shoes must be athletic wear---slip on rubber sole casuals are not permitted for physical education. Shoes may not have any cut out or mesh sections on the shoe; it must encompass the foot entirely and have an attached back. Heelies are highly discouraged from physical education. They are not suitable for most aerobic activities because of the thick sole and heavy weight of the shoe. Tennis shoes do not need to be costly, but look for good arch support! Your cooperation is greatly appreciated! Enjoy the rest of your summer! See you in August! Mrs. Marie Baxivanos, Primary PE K-2 |
