1st Grade - News on Eleven

As you know, we have been learning about spiders and now have a pet tarantula, named Rosie.  The children will be responsible for helping to care for her by bringing in crickets and making sure she has water.  It's been very exciting watching her eat and examining the skin that she recently molted from - stop by and see her whenever you can.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

*The children will no longer be bringing home their vocabulary words in baggie.  From now on a list of the words will be sent home in the Friday Folder.  A test will be given on these words EVERY Wednesday. Remember the children are NOT required to spell them - just read orally.

*You can find the weeks spelling and vocabulary words under "Flashcards" on this page.

*READING LOGS are due on FRIDAY this week.
