Due: Friday, August 14 Monday, August 10th Homework: Same as Friday Due: Friday, August 14 Tuesday, August 18th Homework: Science Safety Worksheet Due: Wednesday, August 19th Thursday, August 20th Homework: Finish the textbook scavenger hunt we worked on in class (some students have already finished)Due: Friday, August 21 Tuesday, September 1st Homework: NoneTest grades will be posted on parent portal today Tuesday, September 8th Homework: Finish the Paper Plate Earth Models that we started in class. (Some students already finished today.)Due: Wednesday, September 9th Tuesday, September 15th Announcement: Donations Needed! We will be doing a lab next week, so I am requesting the following items:--unopened bags of milk chocolate chips --unopened bags of white chocolate chips --unopened bags of butterscotch chips These are not required; donations only please. We will be doing a lab soon, so I am requesting the following materials: --unopened box of Graham Crackers --unopened tub/can of cake frosting (any flavor) These are not required; donations only please. Thank you in advance for anything you can provide!! Monday, October 5th Announcement: Benchmark Exams will be held on Thursday for all science classes. Students need to study all topics that we have addressed so far in this nine week period.Monday, October 12th Homework: Finish reading pages 240 - 246 and answer questions 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 3a, and 3b on page 246. Write your answers in complete sentences.Due: Tuesday, October 13th Tuesday, October 13th Project: Volcano/Earthquake Project. Students will choose which project they will complete. They make work with partners if they desire, but this is not required. Students should bring home detailed information about the project including a grading sheet.Due: Wednesday, October 28th Tuesday, November 3rd Announcement: Science textbook check will be Thursday, November 5th. Please make sure you bring your book to class that day.  Tuesday, November 10th Announcement: Test over Plate Tectonics, Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Weathering this Friday (11/13). Students should come home today with a study guide.
