Week of March 8, 2010 Social Studies: We are starting Chapter 14 "A New South and a New Georgia." This chapter involves the transformation from an agricultural based economy to an economy based on industry. We will look at how this change affects our economy today. Homework: page 309 numbers 1-3, page 315 numbers 1-3, and page 321 numbers 1-3. Literature: We are working on literature vocabulary and using this vocabulary while reading short stories from the literature book. |
