School Year!

ATTENTION

PARENTS OF EIGHTH GRADERS

 

Please mark your calendar for a very important meeting about scheduling your child for high school, which will be held Tuesday, March 16, at 6 p.m. in the Milton School Cafeteria.  The purpose of this meeting is to provide you & your child with information regarding your child’s high school schedule as well as the new graduation requirements for Louisiana High School Students.  Laura Thomas, the Comeaux High School Counselor in charge of student scheduling, will be the presenter.  This meeting is for parents & students, and this will be your chance to begin making choices about scheduling for high school. We hope to see you Tuesday, March 16th at 6 p.m in the school cafeteria.

 

 

LEAP & iLEAP

Information

 

The LEAP Test (4th & 8th grades) will be administered in two phases this year. Phase I will be conducted on Tuesday, March 23rd and will consist only of the writing portions English Language Arts & Math Tests. Phase two of the LEAP Test will consist of the remaining parts of the ELA & Math as well as the entire Science & Social Studies Tests. The second phase of the LEAP Test will be administered the week of Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 16th. 

The entire iLEAP Test (3rd, 5th, 6th & 7th graders) will be administered Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 16th, which is the same week as phase two of the LEAP Test.

School Uniform Assistance -

The School Uniform Outreach (SUO) program will not begin taking uniform requests until August 25, 2009. Other uniform resources at reasonable prices for parents are:
