Hello and Welcome to our class website!

Classroom Mission Statement

Our classroom mission is to learn to read, write, and understand math. We will strive to build responsibility and independence. We will accomplish this by working hard all year and trying our best, listening and following directions, being kind, respectful, and helping others! First Grade is an exciting and important time for learning and developing new skills as the base for future educational experiences.

Any important class information and homework will be posted here each week. Also, please check and sign your child's agenda each night!

Spring is  here...  Please continue to practice math facts, high frequency words and read daily with your child. Remind students to use the strategies we have learned when they come to a word they don't know. The Leprechaun traps were wonderful! They have been on display in the library for the whole school to see! I am very proud of the students and their hard work!
