Welcome to the what I am sure it's going to be a great School year!
This year we are going to be speaking Spanish! I know you will do your best to use the language in and outside of class.
FAVORITE LINKS: please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the weblinks below. They offer excellent practice and interactive games, plus self assessments. We will use classzone and Spanish stars a lot in the lab since these two web sites are directly connected to out textbook En español uno.
1) Check this page to see what we have covered in class for the day/s you missed. 2) The first week of school write down the number/or email of 2 classmates you can call to find out about missing work 3) When you are able to return to school, please check the absent folder in the classroom ( yellow sign Ausente? ) and pick up hand outs or other missed work. 4) If you missed a test/quiz/assessment, please come and talk to me to schedule a make up date. You have the same amount of days you were absent to make up the assignment. If any special circumstances occur, please let me know or ask your parents to email/call me. Suggestion: DO NOT wait until the day before the quiz/test to come in for extra help. If you feel you are confused and are having troubles following along, please come in for extra help right away. When learning a foreign language, everything we learn MUST be comulative. All parts of language are constantly used and recycled when speaking, reading, listening, and writing. For example, when we start Unit 2, we will still use all the vocabulary and grammar since the beginning of the school year. This happens NOT to make your life harder but because everything in language learning and human communication is connected.
