4-6-11 7th Grade and 8th Grade 

In class we are reviewing for the SOL's. Students are reading short articles and answering questions about the articles. They are reading from the SOL Coach and also from Junior Scholastic. They are studying the meaning of many prefixes, roots, and suffixes. Knowing the meaning of these will help them understand many words. Also, students are practicing the use of context clues to figure out the meaning of unknown words.

Eighth Graders, remember to bring your RU release form and your money for the field trip next Friday, April 15. The field trip is so much fun. You don't want to miss it!
