Parents,

     Don't forget that this Friday, May 4th is our Walk Event and Field Day at the Athens Sportplex which is located off Hwy. 31 North.  We will meet there for the event.  Our class is at 44% participation.  It is not too late to create your webpage and send out 30 e-mails.  It took me about 15-20 minutes to complete the step-by-step instructions.  

     Incredibly, our last day of school is May 24th.  On that day, however, we will just be presenting awards beginning at 8:a.m. and when that is concluded---school is over.

This week in:

Bible:  Bible verse test on Thursday  Mark 1:17 --- "Come follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people."  Bible stories:  John the Baptist and "The Disciples Leave All"

Spelling:    TEST ON THURSDAY.  Spelling list will go home every Monday.  Post it somewhere prominent and practice daily.  Unit 33

Math:  TEST ON THURSDAY.  We will be learning how to:  double a number; divide a set of objects into equal groups; make a graph of domino sums; find the probability of sums of dominos (mode and range of a set of data).             

English:  Adjectives           

Reading:  "Fanny Crosby"

Writing:  Capital cursive L, P, R, and B.

History:  Chapter 7 test on Tuesday --- Chapter 8 "King's Orders"
