Reminders/Notes:

*FieldTrip to Jackson is NEXT TUESDAY (May 15). Please remember that wewill pull out of the school at 7:00am, so students need to be here by6:45am. We will return at approximately 4:30pm. Please be on thelookout for more information that will come over the next weekconcerning the field trip.

*Congratulationsto our May Student of the Month, Miss Tate Woolbright!

*Yearbooksare being sold for $30 until they run out.

*PowWow Day is Friday. Please make sure your child wears tennis shoesand brings a water bottle. Snacks and tattoos will be sold. Anyadults that would like to come help out are MORE than welcome. Wewould love to have cheerleaders as we compete in the eventsthroughout the day!

*IT'SHERE!! The MCT2 exams will be held tomorrow (May 8) through Thursday(May 10). Please be sure your child is present each day. Studentsthat have to make up any portion of the test will do so on Friday andwill miss out on Pow Wow Day. Students need to have a good night'srest each night and also eat a nice, healthy breakfast. Also, pleasebe sure students are on time each morning. Once the tests havebegun, late students will not be allowed to come into the classroom. They will have to test at a different location (most likely thelibrary). I have informed students that they may bring G Ratedmovies to watch after testing each day. I also reminded them thatonce they have finished testing each day, they may only put theirheads down or read a book until testing is complete school-wide. Please have your child bring any books from home that he/she might beinterested in reading.

*AwardsDay for 3^rd Grade will be Monday, May 21 at 9:30am. Students receiving awards will be sent home with invitations invitingparents/guardians.

*Ifyou would like to send any snacks for the class to eat after testing,we would appreciate it. In the past, parents have sent LittleDebbies and other small snacks. Please do not feel obligated. I ambringing popsicles for the kids to enjoy tomorrow.
