* Please note that I have sent home a ring of letter flashcards with your student. You may use these flashcards to offer your child additional practice with letter naming and letter sounds.

Important Dates and Information:
May 7 - field day! PTF is sponsoring this event along with a family picnic. The important thing this week is Field Day on Friday. Check your Friday Folders for information and let me know if you have any questions. I encourage all parents to come and join the festivities – it will be a great day for the whole family. Please pack a snack and an extra drink for your child (water is encouraged!) And after the activities are finished, there will be a picnic. You can stay and participate in the picnic, however, you are free to take your child when everything is over. We will not have any scheduled activities when they are finished.
May 14 - Golf Tournament at Southern Gayles
May 20 - last day of school, school out at 10:00 AM. Students must be picked up by 10. THE SCHOOL WILL NOT PROVIDE EXTENDED CARE!!!!
Final Notes:
If you took pictures on the field trip and do not mind sharing them, please email some of them to me for our class page in the yearbook!
Our class has 1 tube of Clorox cleaning wipes left. I use these daily after lunch. Any donations are greatly appreciated!
Also, FCA is collecting Box Top labels and Campbell's labels for our school. The class that collects the most will get a SURPRISE!!!
