FASHION HISTORY Power Point Assignment & Written Report (Due Sept 12, 2008) Each student needs a Power Point Instructions sheet. Students will get into groups of three or less. They will decide on a time period they want to research and sign up for it using the sign up sheet. Students will have to research the following: 1. Words and quotes that describe the time. 2. Who Influenced fashions? 3. What was the prominent silhouette? 4. Who were designers and/or labels? 5. What were the trends? 6. What colors were popular? 7. What textiles were used? 8. What movies are representative of the time? 9. What clothing parallels can be made to other time periods? 10. What historical moments occurred?
Minimum of 10 slides - maximum 20. There must be at least two pictures per page in this presentations. Students will be responsible for a works cited page. The project will not be graded if they do not have a works cited page. Requirements: Title Page: Centered: Name, Subject Chosen, Fashion history, Period 2 pages long, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman Font Bibliography on separate page, at least 2 sources Written Report with Pictures and Power point with PICTURES must present.
