Weekly Homework

Homework Policy: Homework is an extension of our classwork. Weekly assignments are given to students on Monday for the week. Parents are to review your homework sheet with you. This verifies that we all are communicating the weekly homework assignments. All completed weekly assignments are due Friday morning unless otherwise noted by the teacher.

ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF November 23rd– 25th

SCIENCE

·        Ms. Rothstein will continue with the Landforms Unit.  It is important for your child to maintain his or her Science notebook.  Ask your child what they know about maps.

·        We will continue to work on geometry.  Parallelism, perpendicularity, rotational symmetry and measuring quadrilateral and triangle angles. We will have a quiz on complementary and supplementary angles and vertical angles.

·        Additional homework will be assigned.  Please check your child’s agenda nightly and check over their work with them. Once you have checked their work with them please sign the agenda.

·        In Reading, our focus will be on making inferences and conclusions.  We will be reading “James Forten”.  Check agenda for homework.
