Welcome to Ms. Smith's web page. Sept. 21 Chorus - PTO Concert at 6:30 PM in the Ellis Cafeteria. Done! Exellent job, chorus. It was very musical and I was pleased with the way you performed the details that we worked on in rehearsals. You rose above just singing the right notes at the right time, and you made music! Thank you! Oct. 20 Sixth Grade Orchestra Concert at 6:30 in the Ellis Cafeteria with the Band Sixth Graders. November 11 - Veteran's Day Assembly in the Ellis Gym in the morning of the school day with Band, Chorus, and Orchestra. I'm not sure yet of the time. I will post it as soon as I know. December 1 - Orchestra concert at 6:30. December 1 - Chorus Concert at 7:30. In addition to our concert uniform, students may wear holiday scarves, hats. Concert attire is our concert t-shirts and nice blue jeans. Eighth graders will be taking leadership roles by designing our concert t-shirts and helping with the choice of music for concerts. All classes will continue to improve their technical skills as they travel on their journey to becoming independent, mature, creative musicians. Parents, thank you for supporting us in this endeavor. |
