Here are the concert dates for this semester:  

March 6, 2010 Optional Concert at Indian Lake Family Fun Festival.  Orchestra performs at 10:30 AM and Chorus performs at 11:00 AM.  Thank you for your participation.  This is our only opportunity to get into Indian Lake Elementary School and show them what a great music program we have here at Ellis. Wear your concert uniform.

Orchestra will perform at the Fifth Grade Parent Orientation Night here at Ellis on May 3, 2010 at 6:30.  We will also have our end of the year concert at Hendersonville High School on May 10, 2010 at 7:00.  For the concert at HHS, we will wear our formal concert uniforms of white shirts or blouses, and black slacks or skirts.

Chorus end of the year concert will be on Thursday, May 6 at 6:30PM in the cafeteria.

Concert attire is our concert t-shirts and nice blue jeans, unless specified otherwise.

There will be an Ellis Talent Show - tryouts are Monday, March 15th and Tuesday March 16th right after school.  The Talent Show will be on Tuesday, March 30th at 9:00 AM, and the mandatory dress rehearsal will be on Monday, March 29th right after school.  The show will be a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  Admission will be $3.00.

Drama Club Performance - Ellis Middle School Drama Club presents Disney's Alice in Wonderland Junior - May 13, 2010 at 6:30 PM.

Eighth graders take leadership roles by designing our concert t-shirts and helping with the choice of music for concerts. All classes are continuing to improve their technical skills as they travel on their journey to becoming independent, mature, creative musicians. Parents, thank you for supporting us in this endeavor.
