Thank you to all who helped with the 5th Grade Heritage Feast!  The food was wonderful and a special thank you to those who helped set up and clean up!  I do have some serving spoons and miscellaneous items that had no names.  If you are missing something, please send me a note & I will send the item home with your child. 

  Listed below is what we will be covering (or at least what I anticipate we will be covering) in class by subject & grade.  This should help in the event of absences.  I will note if the assignment must be finished for homework and I will advise of upcoming tests or project due dates.

6th GRADE:

 6th Grade Reading:  PLEASE BRING A BOOK EVERY DAY FOR SILENT READING

Monday 2/8:   Discuss events of Chapters 8 and 9. Read Chapter 10.

Tuesday 2/9:   Discuss events of Chapter 10.  Review/focus on "foreshadowing".

Wednesday 2/10:    Read Chapter 11 and complete worksheet for Chapters 9-11.

Thursday 2/11:  Discussion,  go over worksheet--Focus --"Irony"

Friday 2/12:  Read/discuss Chapters 12 and 13.

  5th Grade Social Studies

Friday 2/12:   Finalize any remaining lessons, begin work on chapter review if time.
