Welcome to my First Grade Class!
Hi!  
I am Emmy Hunt and I am so excited to be teaching First Grade this year.  This is the beginning of my 21st year with this county. I have been married for 31 years to Steve Hunt and we have 2 sons who are each married.  We also have a granddaughter Sara, and a grandson Jay.  They have us spoiled rotten:)    I am very excited about this class, they are smart and behave great!  You have done a wonderful job in raising your children - you can always tell about the home life by the way your children act when they are away from you - you should all be proud.  
This week we have been reviewing letter recognition and the sound of each letter.  Your child has been bringing home sight words to practice each day.
