5th Grade - 4th Quarter

All Mount Vernon Field Trip Money and Permissin Slips were due to school by 4/13 - please send in ASAP - we are missing some forms ($26)

MSA Testing is over - :)

Homework will resume as normal - I know students had a lot to do for Science and I felt that as long as they were reading and writing, they were not needing a whole lot extra from me. However, I do need to get back into the groove since homework grades need to be recorded for Reading and Oral and Written Communication. Below is the homework schedule for the next 7 day cycle:

All classes:

Spelling homework (10 6th grade quality sentences and 3 times each) due Wednesday, 4/25

Power Words (quality responses) homework due Friday, 4/27

Reading Logs (5 quality reading reflections) due Tuesday, 5/1

Test on Tuesday, 5/1

All students are reading novels - some students need to read novels at home as well - please ask your child if they have additional work - they are aware of what is being assigned. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks! t
