Happy New Year!  Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas with family and friends.  Now we are ready for the year 2012.  It's great to be back in school, and to see all those sweet smiling faces!  I just want to update you on upcoming classroom information and activities.

The PS3's will be learning phonetic sounds and recognition for letters Ii, Jj, Kk, and Ll.  We also will be concentrating on numbers 7, 8, and 9 and their concepts.  By the end  of the month, we will be counting to 20.  Our Bible lessons will include Jesus' Boyhood, Follow Me, Beside the Pool, The Woman at the Well, The Nobleman's Son, Fishing with Jesus, and Heaven.  Our Bible verse this month is "Love one another".  1 John 3:23

Progress reports will be issued this month.  Please check folder daily and initial dicipline chart.  The children are doing such a good job!  I am very excited with their progress.  Thank you for sharing your sweet children with me.  They are the best!  Please let me know of any concerns you might have.
