Mrs. Andrea's preschool 3's - MWF and T/TH - classes: FEBRUARY 2012 Notes ~ Jesus Loves You and me!! What wonderful weather our Lord has blessed us with this year!!! The children are growing so fast academically and physically. I measured each child for the letter Ii to see how many inches they have grown. Each child had grown at least an inch or more. The children had fun seeing how much they have grown. I will send a copy of the chart home at the end of school.
The Bible stories for this month are Heaven, Jesus Stills the Storm. Jesus Raises Jairus Daughter, Feeding the 5000, Peter Walks on Water, and Tax from a Fishes Mouth. We will be learning the letters Ll, Mm, and Nn. The numbers 9, 10, and 11 while we are counting to 20.
Important dates to remember: M/W/F: Feb. 3 - Donuts with Dad. Feb. 3 - Show and Tell - Ll. Feb. 10 - I will be out of town with my son going to Special Olympics State games for Bowling. Feb.13 - Jesus Loves Me party - watch for sign - up sheet. Feb. 17 - Show and Tell - Mm Feb. 24 - Show and Tell - Nn T/TH: Feb. 2 - Donuts with Dad Feb. 2 - Show and Tell - Ll Feb. 9 - I will be out of town with my son at the Special Olympics State Games. Feb. 14 - Jesus Loves Me breakfast party - more information to come. Feb. 16 - Show and Tell - Mm Feb. 23 - Show and Tell - Nn
I enjoy each of your children. They bring so much joy to my life. Each one brings their own personality to the classroom and together we make a great class!! We are getting ready for our Spring into Science - it is going to be so much fun. I would like to thank my room coordinators for this year. MWF class is Lauren Stankiewicz. SPECIALS: Chapel - Every Wednesday the preschool classes and the elementary classes go to Chapel for Praise songs and short lesson. Parents are welcome but seating is limited this year. Computer Lab - Each week your child will go to the computer lab 2 times a week. They are working on mouse control; how to point and click. Library - Each week the class goes to the Library to work on how to act in the library. Books are checked out weekly but stay in the classroom. Storybook Theater - Each week everyone goes to storybook theater where Mrs. Tena reads a story of her choice and shows some great videos that the children really enjoy. Music Makers - Each week all the 3 year old classes go together to make music and sing some songs. There are several props the children are allowed to use; scarves that they can move with a beat or to the words in the song and rhythm sticks to name a few.
