Bible Verse

Bible-- Lesson 331-32--Paul's Miossionary Journey. No Bible Memory and Quiz on Friday.  

Spelling-- Lesson 24(Review Lesson)-  No Spelling Test

Language--   Chapter 16--We will work on a writing unit. 

Reading-- We will complete the book report on Mountain Born.

Math-- We will work with  perimeter and area .

History--We will complete Chapter 15 in History.  Let your student bring a play car on Tuesday.

Dates to Remember:

.  On Tuesday afternoon we will have games, Wednesday your student may bring his Library book for a Reading time and on Thursday we will have a movie afternoon.  Let your student bring a favorite movie

.  May 17-25  Students may wear Spirit dress(this includes jeans and spirit shirts or school shirts, no jeans shorts .  Boys, if you wear shorts they must be the school shorts.)

.  May 21-25---Reminder--Afterschool Clubs will not meet the last week of school(May 21-25).  Please make arrangements to pick-up your student at their regular dismissal time.  Thanks!

.  May 25---End of year parties after 1:30.

Cowboy Church Supply Round-up

For those of you who may not know Cowboy Church(a church in our community) was destroyed by fire this month.  It is unfortunate that this has occurred, however; this is a great opportunity for us to serve.

At the end of the year, we often have school supplies left over.  These leftover supplies could assist the children's ministry at Cowboy Church.  It's really very easy!  If you would like your child's additional supplies conated to help this church, please contact your child's teacher.

If you are interested in purchasing supplies or have unused supplies at home, please label the items"Cowboy Church"  andf send them to school with your childs.  The 2nd grade classrooms will also have bins for donated items. 

Items needed:  crayons, markers, glue sticks, construction paper, colored pencils.
