PEP BAND

Our first pep band performance is Friday, December 16.  Please make sure you know which band you are in.  The Red Band performs at this game, but all are welcome!  Please meet at 6:30 pm in the OHS Band room.  Wear your pep band shirt.

SPAGHETTI DINNER

The spaghetti dinner hosted by the OHS Band will be Friday, January 13.  Each student is responsible to work a one hour shift and bring a homemade dessert for the dinner.  Tickets will be distributed on Thursday, January 5, 2012.  This is another opportunity to earn money towards the band tour to Disney over spring break.

BAND LESSONS

Keep up to date on attending and playing your band lessons for me. This is a big part of your grade and you don't want to get penalized for missing an assignment.

SEMESTER TEST

The band semester test is Tuesday, December 20.  Pick up a semester review sheet and memorize those musical terms!

FREEZIN FOR A REEZIN

Drumline - meet in the OHS band room at 3:30 pm on Friday, December 16.  We will travel to Handy Foods and perform with the OHS cheerleaders on some percussion cheers.

 

Have a terrific Christmas break.  Rest up - when we return in January, we have several performances and will begin rehearsals for the IHSA Solo & Ensemble contest.  Congratulations on a great first semester!
