CHEMISTRY I
This is
our Chemistry I site

SAM has only one quiz listed in the test category which affects your average greatly.  As soon as you have more test grades, that one quiz won't be as significant.

Many of you are losing valuable daily points by not completing and turning in simple assignments.

New Unit
Stoichiometry - Chapter 12
It concerns mathematical relationships and uses the mole conversions you learned in the last unit.
It is critical that you attend class and keep up all assignments.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Students:  Chemistry is an exciting science.  It is important that you keep up daily.  The new material builds on previous knowledge.  Use the icon above to email me if you have questions.

REMINDERS:   1.  Lab fees and Lab Safety Contract are due ASAP.
2.  Remind your parents to complete the parent questionnaire.
3.  Ask for help as soon as you need it - don't wait!
4.  When you have a chance, try some of the web sites listed above and let me know what you think of them.

You will find Chemistry interesting
......and even FUN at times, I promise.

Parents:  Feel free to email if you have questions, comments or concerns about this class.  You should have gotten a letter with contact information and a questionnaire to compete.
I am concerned with some students not completing assignments or doing them late.  You may want to discuss this with your child.  It seriously hinders their ability to keep up in class and learn new material.

Thank you

See you in class,

Mrs. Sullivan
