Welcome to Mrs. Currie's Kindergarten Class!

I am having an exciting school year with your children!

Our class goes to lunch each day at 11:20. You are welcome to come and eat lunch with your child. Please sign in at the office and get a visitor's pass before meeting us in the cafeteria.

Our weekly enhancements include:

Monday- P.E. and Bible

*Please make sure your child has on tennis shoes for P.E. with the P.E. teacher.

Tuesday- Art

Thursday- Media and Music

Friday- Guidance

Your child will receive homework each night. Please make sure that your child completes their homework and returns it to school the next day.

We are rotating classes. The students are going to Mrs. Hipp's Class for Phonics, Mrs. Morrison's Class for Reading, and my class for Math. The students are enjoying doing this. They are learning so much!

In math we are working on numbers and number words. The students are working really hard on these. Continue to work on these at home.

We have been working really hard on writing our letters and using the correct strokes. Have your child practice saying each letter and write them using the correct strokes. 

Continue to practice Zoophonics animal names, letters, sound, and signal. The students are doing a great job demonstrating these in class.
