martes	In class: We worked on cartoon strips using greetings and other expressions we practiced in class! Homework: finish 3 frame cartoon script (either phone conversation or knock on door)
miércoles	Computer Lab - no homework!
jueves	Computer Lab - no homework! This was a very frustrating day from a technical perspective, but hopefully next week will be much more productive!!! The students handled themselves BEAUTIFULLY!
viernes	Students presented comic strips to class - well done! Very impressed with their first experience with 'Simón Dice'.

Week of 8/31/09
lunes	In Class: We reviewed colors (vowel worksheet) and practiced pronunciation. Discussed importance of non-verbals & gestures. Workbook pages 7-9 Homework: none
martes	In Class: We reviewed gestures. Watched YouTube video: Spanish mime (Carlos Martinez) Class games to practice colors, sounds, and gestures. Partner worked together to come up with their own mime using at least 3 of the ones we learned in class. Homework: none
miércoles	In Class: Introduced question words. Practiced how to answer the phone, a knock at the door, and general greetings. Homework: none
jueves	In Class: Review for quiz. (Review sheet attached at the bottom of this page!) Homework: study!!!
