Music Rules, Consequences and Rewards

Rules:

1)   Sit quietly and listen.

2)   Raise your hand to speak.

3)   Take care of books and instruments.

4)   Be kind to others.

5)   Always try your best!

Consequences:

1)   Warning

2)   2^nd Warning

3)   Move to different part of room & sit out fun song

4)   Music Consequence Sheet – Filled out in class

5)   Consequence Sheet signed by parents

6)   Phone Call Home

7)   Principal’s Office Visit

Consequence Sheet not returned – phone call home.

Fighting, Saying explicit things, etc. – directly to Principal.

Rewards:

·        Whole Class – Fun song at end of time

·        Verbal praise to students & classroom teacher

·        Special prizes when doing special activities

·        Star class of the month – post on wall outside room

·        Music award to one student per class per awards day
