ATTENTION: TUTORING IS AVAILABLE EVERY DAY BEFORE SCHOOL ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS (I CAN ONLY TAKE 2 STUDENTS PER DAY). 7:30 BESIDE THE OFFICE.
We are in "Review Mode" for the rest of the year. Please find the 4-page study guide at the bottom of the page. Reminder: Even though textbooks are turned in on Thursday, May 17, you can still review for exam by using the vocab/verb pages in the back of your workbook.
Daily assignments (Absent students please complete the work below for the day(s) you were out):
5/7 - 5/11: We are watching a Spanish sitcom in class and learning lots of new vocabulary, expressions, cultural differences, etc. While meant to be enjoyable, it is also an important grade nearing the end of the year. Students are responsible for maintaining the following:
1) 5-sentences summaries (in Spanish) for each scene watched in class (3 total for entire episode)
2) Vocabulary list started in class on Tuesday
3) Translating the audioscript. In essence, every word spoken in the sitcom must be translated. If you have been absent or need a new one, find it at this site: http://www.planet-schule.de/fileadmin/dam_media/swr/extra/pdf/sp_sc01.pdf
4) You may find this episode on Youtube by typing in "Extra Spanish Episode One". I recommend watching and re-watching, reading along with your script, and learning everything from the entire episode.
Your test on Friday will include 28 True/False questions about the sitcom, and 5 audio comprehension questions for which you will hear a line from the show and have to write this line (spelled correctly in Spanish) AND indicate which character said the line.
