Welcome! This site will enable you to view the objectives for the week in Kindergarten.





Language Arts:  We are finishing the letter u.  We will learn the sound u makes in words such as umbrella and ugly.   This will finish the first part of our series and we will be taking a test that reviews all of the skills taught thus far.  We are decoding stories.  We are classifying letters as vowels or consonants.

 Math:  We are studying addition and the numbers zero through twenty.

Religion: We  are discussing feelings.  The Eighth grade has invited us to help at their mass this Thursday.  Some of us will be in a short play about the Presentation of our Lord.  If your child does not have a part in this program, we will have two more masses that we are in charge of.

 Special Notes:  On Wednesday, we will be celebrating Chinese New year so we will be learning more about China.

On Thursday, we will be in the mass at 9 o'clock.  We will also be discussing groundhog's day and shadows.

Friday is Take Your Child Out To Lunch.  Your child must have a permission slip in order to go.  If your child is not going, lunch will not be served.  He/she will need to bring a lunch.
