Welcome to AFM ( Advanced Functions & Modeling) My name is Ricky Weaver. I am the student teacher for Mr. Aaron Richmond's 2nd and 3rd block AFM classes. I began teaching the classes on Monday, February 14, and will teach until mid April. I am a current senior at Catawba College, majoring in mathematics and minoring in secondary education. I graduated from West Rowan in 2007 and am glad to be teaching at my old school. I am using the emails that were collected during the first few days in order to keep parents posted on homework assignments as well as provide students another opportunity to copy down the assignment if it was missed in class. Parents should receive and update once a week, but assignments can be viewed on this page at anytime. If for any reason you need to contact me, please email me at reweaver@catawba.edu. There is a copy of the syllabus available as a download at the bottom of the page if anybody needs to see it. It contains a copy of the grading procedures and classroom expectations. complete the online assignments by doing two posts a night. these will have a big impact on your grade, so do not miss any of the assignments. |
