#3 - 11/3 & 11/4) Read chapter 3 (all sections).  There are 20 vocabulary words written in bold-faced type throughout the chapter. You are to make a crossword puzzle  using these words.  You may use graph paper and a ruler or you may make a computerized version (there are many resources to make crossword puzzles online).  Regardless, your definitions/descriptions must be typed with a sketch (may be hand drawn) next to to each one.  The entire product (grid and definitions/descriptions with sketches) must fit on one sheet of 8.5" X 11" paper. 

You must turn in two pages:  page one - the blank grid with all your definitions/descriptions/sketches underneath,  page two -  an exact replica of page one with the answers filled in (to serve as an answer key).

          Also, draw a large triangle on a sheet of paper (not equilateral).  Then make two exact copies by tracing or photocopying (three sheets of paper total).  Then, precisely make the following (using your ruler and protractor):  the three angle bisectors on one triangle, the three altitudes on another triangle and the three perpendicular bisectors on the third triangle to form the incenter, orthocenter and circumcenter, respectively. 

#5 - 11/7 & 11/10) Using the Gizmos registration file on my website (look under "files" then search for the registration information for your period), follow the directions and establish a Gizmos account.  Make a note of your username and password.  Also, run a "System Test" as directed in class to ensure you have the latest versions of Shockwave and Flash.  Gizmos will not work on an iPad or iPhone.
