School is Closed January 18-20. Why not spend some of your free time at the Meadowbrook Public Library? They have lots of great books, audiobooks, movies and music.

Also, on Tuesday, Jan. 19, they will be showing a movie at 2:00 pm based on the popular children's book, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meat-balls." Read the book (it is really short) and then enjoy the movie and look for similarities and differences. I'd love to hear what you think.

Coming Up in March: “Race” to the Library

March is “Driven to Read” month at the SMS library. Read any of more than 100 different racing books and pass the Accelerated Reader quiz to be entered into a drawing for prizes. The more you read, the better your chances of winning! Prizes include:

·    Scale model replicas of NASCAR cars.

·    Standup figures of NASCAR drivers

·    T-Shirts

·    Posters of NASCAR drivers

·    More!

No matter what your reading level, there is a book for you!

1. Don't come without a pass. (Unless you are with a teacher.)

2. Sign in and out at the circulation desk.

3. No food, drinks or gum.

4. Talk quietly.

5. NO running!

6. Treat the books and equipment gently.

7. Return your books on-time.

8. Clean up after yourself and push in your chair.
