Hello, and welcome to schoolnotes for 8th Grade Physical Science class.  By now all students have received a copy of the science texts to take home with them.  There will be no need to carry books to and from school, as a classroom copy of each text is also provided.  The textbook will be your primary guide.  Keep it in a safe place and refer to it often, especially before tests!

Students have also been provided a copy of SOLs for this class, a course syllabus, and a course outline.  These pages should stay in the science binder.  Students are to bring paper and a mechanical pencil with them each day.  If homework was assigned that should be with them as well.  Ten points are deducted from the participation grade each time there are missing materials or work.

I will keep two weeks worth of work up at a time to help students who have been absent or plan to be absent.  We will be working in the order that the book was written.
